Native of Saguenay, Dre. Dominique Girard obtained her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Université de Montréal in 2008. Subsequently, she moved to the Monterégie region for one year where she worked with domestic animals before moving to Quebec City where she now practices her profession. She is particularly interested in the management of chronic diseases and likes to follow her patients closely and on the long term during their whole life. She also likes to give advice to owners to ensure their pets will enjoy stress-free training, and help them develop a harmonious relationship with their animal. She now lives with her cat Bellatrix, a little warrior she rescued from the street.
