Dr. Gagnon obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Université de Montréal in 2018. During his studies, he had the opportunity to participate in several research projects on osteoarthritis and pain management in companion animals. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Gagnon began working for the MonVet group of hospitals in Montérégie. He then moved to the Eastern Townships and joined our team so he could be your family veterinarian.
In 2019, Dr. Gagnon worked in collaboration with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and industry to develop an early detection tool for feline diabetes. Needless to say, feline medicine and research in the field are of great interest to him! Passing on and popularizing his knowledge are the aspects he enjoys most about his work.
Dr. Gagnon shares his daily life with three domestic cats he adores: Scot the Scot, Maitre Avocat and Sir Calvin. He'll probably tell you all about them, if he gets the chance!
