Giving table food to your pet is not encouraged, but accidents can happen: Fido hits a dish with his paw, knocks it over and devours the contents, your toddler shares his snack with Fido, your companion finds food thrown on the ground while out for a walk, and so on.
How serious is it, doctor? It all depends on the food ingested... In fact, some foods are toxic for our four-legged friends. Here are a few foods to be avoided by dogs. If your pet ingests any of these, don't hesitate to contact your veterinarian.
*Please note: Other foods will be added to this list shortly. This list is not exhaustive. Other foods may be harmful to your pet. Ask your veterinarian if you have any doubts.
