Geriatric Rabbit Test

When your rabbit reaches 5 years of age, we recommend a complete annual exam to ensure he is in good health and to detect problems earlier. This geriatric consultation consists of:

Annual physical examination General assessment should be carried out 1 to 2 times per year (weight gain, auscultation of the lungs and heart, abdominal palpation, summary examination of the ears and eyes, etc.)
Ear swabs An examination of ear discharge can detect parasites, bacteria or yeast.
Complete stool analysis Helps detect the presence of intestinal parasites such as worms, coccidia, giardia and others.
