New Rabbit Test

From 3-4 months of age, we recommend a complete annual exam for your rabbit to ensure that he is in good health and to detect problems earlier.

This consultation of your new rabbit consists of:

Physical examination General assessment of the condition (weight gain, auscultation of the lungs and heart, abdominal palpation, summary examination of the ears and eyes, etc.)
Ear swabs An examination of ear discharge can detect parasites, bacteria or yeast.
Complete stool analysis Helps detect the presence of intestinal parasites such as worms, coccidia, giardia and others.
Other tests if necessary
  • Urine analysis
  • Bacterial culture
  • X-rays etc.

Please note that there is no mandatory vaccination for rabbits unlike other species.

NB: Ear cleaning or claw trimming are included in this profile.
